Dongrae-gu to develop youth freedom space in Sajik-dong

Dongrae-gu is planning to establish a new youth freedom space in Sajik-dong following the demolition of the Sajik 1 Safety Center. The project aims to create a two-story facility covering 131 square meters designed specifically for local youth.

To ensure the space meets actual needs, Dongrae-gu held a meeting with youth committee members and local residents to gather input on facilities and operations. Suggestions included the installation of sandbags, gaming areas, karaoke rooms, and Nintendo consoles, as well as parental education programs. The district is also conducting surveys and benchmarking successful youth spaces in Seoul to finalize the interior design and operational direction.
