Dongshi, Taiwan Holds '2026 Sea Summer' Music and Oyster Festival

The Chiayi County Cultural and Tourism Bureau is launching the "2026 Dongshi Sea Summer" festival at Dongshi Fisherman's Wharf. The event combines concerts featuring singers Chen Shian and Dai Ailing with a focus on the region’s famed Dongshi oysters.

Visitors can enjoy all‑you‑can‑eat oyster stalls, oyster‑based dishes, and participate in a stamp‑collecting program. Spending NT$500 at designated oyster‑traceability partners qualifies attendees for a free "Oyster Baby" blind‑box and a limited‑edition Jiayi lantern kit. The initiative aims to boost coastal tourism and support local oyster farmers.
