Donna d’Autore 2026 awards to honor women's excellence and social issues

The 2026 edition of the Donna d’Autore awards, organized by Anna Silvia Angelini and the A.I.D.E. APS association, is set to recognize excellence across social, cultural, legal, and sporting sectors. The event is supported by the Lazio Region and the Regional Council of Lazio.

Key honorees include Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior Wanda Ferro. The ceremony will also feature a dedicated segment on femicide and rebirth, including a posthumous Donna d’Autore award for Aurora Tila and a special mention for Roberta Toppi.

In a related cultural effort to combat gender-based violence, author Modestino Di Nenna will present his book-film project, ‘La marcia delle invisibili’, at the Circolo della Stampa in Avellino. The project aims to raise awareness regarding violence against women and promote a culture of respect and prevention.
