Donna Vekić and Dino Prižmić eliminated from US Open

Croatian tennis players Donna Vekić and Dino Prižmić have been eliminated from the US Open in the second round, leaving Croatia without representatives in the singles competition.

Donna Vekić, ranked 39th in the WTA, lost to American Ann Li with a score of 5-7, 7-6 (4), 6-4. Despite winning the first set and holding multiple break points, Vekić was unable to secure the victory in the deciding third set.

Dino Prižmić, ranked 102nd in the ATP, was defeated by Tommy Paul with a score of 6-2, 6-3, 5-7, 6-4. Prižmić struggled to find solutions against the 21st-ranked player and reportedly sought physiotherapy for right arm pain during the match.
