Donnas inaugurates new Vert school costing 3.3 million euros

The municipality of Donnas has inaugurated a new school in Vert, a project costing 3.3 million euros. The facility is designed to accommodate approximately twenty elementary students and thirty kindergarten students from both Vert and the municipal capital.

Mayor Matteo Bosonin noted that the modern, efficient building aims to reduce energy costs, supporting a broader local program for energy adaptation of historical buildings. Beyond education, the structure serves as a community hub, featuring a kitchen and an autonomous generator to support Civil Protection needs, as well as a small gym and meeting rooms for public use.

The funding for the project included 1.6 million euros from PNRR funds, 850,000 euros from the Fund for Indispensable Works, and 560,000 euros in regional contributions.
