Donnie Tang gains social media attention after viral street encounter

Actor Donnie Tang has gained social media attention after a street photographer released a video from two years ago showing a brief, awkward encounter. In the footage, the photographer mistakenly addressed Tang as ‘Lin Wenlong,’ prompting a serious correction from the actor.

However, the atmosphere quickly lightened when the photographer apologized and complimented Tang’s style. The tension fully dissipated when the photographer mentioned Tang’s iconic role as ‘Kam Shing’ from the classic TVB drama ‘Moonlight of the 5th of October.’ Tang responded with a smile, and the two shared a friendly interaction before parting ways.

The video has sparked discussions among netizens regarding Tang’s approachable personality and lack of celebrity ego. The renewed interest in the actor coincides with the fourth late-night rerun of ‘Moonlight of the 5th of October,’ leading many fans to express regret that his career has not reached even greater heights of mainstream stardom despite his talent.
