Donostia Mayor Jon Insausti addresses homelessness strategy

Jon Insausti, the mayor of Donostia, has addressed the limitations of current social services regarding homelessness. Acknowledging that daily resources are insufficient to reach all homeless individuals, Insausti stated that “Donostia cannot handle homelessness alone.”

To address this, the mayor plans to meet with neighboring municipalities to develop a coordinated strategy and common policy to manage the issue more effectively.
