Donovan Mitchell discusses LeBron James' free agency and Cavaliers' offseason

Donovan Mitchell revealed during Cleveland’s Media Day that he expected LeBron James to choose either the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Golden State Warriors during his recent free agency. Mitchell noted that a reunion in Cleveland “made sense” and that he had not anticipated James selecting the Philadelphia 76ers.

Following the offseason, the Cleveland Cavaliers have secured key roster pieces by signing Mitchell to a four-year maximum extension and reaching a three-year deal with James Harden. As the team approaches training camp, Mitchell faces the challenge of maintaining his scoring efficiency and improving his overall statistical contributions, while Harden must focus on reducing his turnover rate to help the team contend for a championship.
