Donovan Mitchell signs historic Adidas extension and reflects on marriage

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell has signed a multiyear contract extension with Adidas. The deal is historic, as it will lead to Mitchell releasing his 10th signature shoe with the brand, making him only the seventh active NBA player to reach such a milestone with a single company.

Separately, Mitchell recently reflected on his summer wedding to singer Coco Jones. During the Cavaliers’ media day, the 30-year-old athlete noted that the celebration allowed him to disconnect from his phone and live in the moment because his closest friends and family were all present in one location. The wedding guest list included various high-profile figures such as Ciara, Russell Wilson, Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson, and Bam Adebayo.
