Don’t Ask the Witch for Love Potion anime premieres in Japan

The TV anime ‘Don’t Ask the Witch for Love Potion’ (Doumo, Suki na Hito ni Horegusuri wo Iraretareta Majo desu.) began broadcasting on October 5, 2026, on networks including MBS and TOKYO MX.

Reini has released the ending theme song for the series, titled ‘Mada Uso ni Naranai’. This marks Reini’s first time performing a theme song for an anime series. The song explores themes of unrequited love and the difficulty of expressing true feelings.

Produced by DioMedia and directed by Keizo Kusakawa, the fantasy series is based on the novel by Eiko Mutsubana. The story follows Rose, a witch living on a lake island, who experiences heartbreak when the knight she loves, Harryju, asks her to create a love potion for someone else.
