Donyell Malen receives one-match suspension

Dutch striker Donyell Malen has received a one-match suspension following a red card issued during the Como vs. Roma match. The sporting judge ruled that Malen will miss the upcoming Saturday fixture against Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico.

Malen is expected to return to availability for the league match against Napoli on October 24. Despite the disciplinary action, football analyst Capello praised Malen’s performance and physical attributes, comparing his presence in the penalty area to Paolo Rossi and noting his ability to score from various positions.

While Como manager Cesc Fabregas noted the difficulty of officiating such decisions, Malen has maintained strong form this season, recording six goals in six Serie A appearances and an assist in the Champions League.
