Donyell Malen returns to Torino for Roma match

Donyell Malen returns to the Olimpico Grande Torino for Roma's upcoming match against Torino, the venue where he made his debut and scored his first goal for the club on January 18.

After a prolific period that included fifteen goals in twenty matches during the latter half of last season, the Dutch striker is looking to break a recent scoring drought following matches against Atalanta and Fenerbahçe. Manager Gian Piero Gasperini is expected to utilize Malen in a formation featuring two attacking midfielders behind a central striker.

While Malen is expected to start, Paulo Dybala may receive rest following his participation in Roma's last four matches. If Malen scores in the upcoming fixture, he would become only the third player in Roma history to score more than five goals within the first four matches of a championship season, joining Manfredini and Francesco Totti.
