DoorBird launches new D22x intercom series and 5G-enabled D31x models
DoorBird, an ASSA ABLOY Group company, has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of two new IP video intercom series: the D22x and the D31x 5G.
The D22x series consists of over 30 models designed for modern building security. These units feature 5 MP HDR cameras with Sony sensors, 180-degree ultra-wide-angle lenses, and various authentication methods including fingerprint recognition, QR codes, and RFID. The series aims to simplify installation by providing integrated power output for electric door openers.
Simultaneously, DoorBird has begun regular distribution of its D31x 5G series in the EMEIA region. These intercoms, specifically the D31TDV 5G and D31TDH 5G models, are designed to modernize existing buildings by utilizing integrated 4G and 5G connectivity. This eliminates the need for extensive network cabling, requiring only a power source for installation. The D31x models come with pre-installed SIM cards capable of operating in over 200 countries and are intended for large-scale installations of up to 3,000 units. Availability in the United States is expected to follow the EMEIA rollout.
