Dora Caamaño accused of reselling Lionel Messi farewell match tickets
Dora Caamaño, the mother of journalist Yanina Latorre, has been accused of reselling tickets for Lionel Messi’s farewell match with the Argentina national team against Benin. The controversy arose after influencer Natali Rodríguez shared screenshots of a conversation in which a seat in the Sívori alta stand was offered for 700,000 pesos, significantly higher than the official price of 180,000 pesos.
Rodríguez alleged that the operation involves Caamaño’s family members, including her sister and grandson, suggesting a connection to the Argentine Football Association (AFA) through a talent scouting business. Caamaño denied any fraudulent activity, stating that the price is determined by the ticket holder and mentioning that her eldest grandson works with individuals linked to the AFA, though she did not provide specific details regarding the origin of the tickets.
The match is scheduled to take place this Tuesday, October 6, at the Monumental Stadium. Due to high demand and the exhaustion of official ticket sales, unauthorized secondary market offers have become a point of public contention.
