Dorados de Chihuahua defeat CorreBasket UAT in LNBP series opener

Dorados de Chihuahua defeated CorreBasket UAT 86-79 in the first game of their series in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, as part of the 2026 LNBP season. Despite CorreBasket holding leads throughout much of the game, including a 65-62 advantage entering the final quarter, Dorados secured the win in the closing minutes.

The series is critical for CorreBasket UAT, coached by Laselle Taylor, as they remain four wins away from the eighth-place playoff spot currently held by Abejas de León. The two teams are scheduled to meet again for the second game of the series at the Gimnasio Multidisciplinario of the UAT Victoria campus.
