Doraemon birthday parade held at Roppongi Hills

A birthday parade was held at Roppongi Hills in Tokyo to celebrate the character Doraemon. The event, titled ‘Surprise! Doraemon Birthday Parade’, featured 24 children marching along Keyakizaka Street while pulling giant balloons of Doraemon and Dorami.

The parade served as a promotion for the upcoming ‘Doraemon Birthday Special’ scheduled to air on September 6. During the ceremony, a surprise appearance by Dorami and a birthday cake were presented to the character. The event also incorporated plot elements from the upcoming special, including a ‘wanted poster’ for Doraemon and items related to a fox-shaped robot named Konrobo.

The upcoming television special, titled ‘Konkon Great Confusion! The Suspect is Doraemon?!’, is an original episode where Doraemon is falsely accused of stealing a valuable jewel worth 1 billion yen. The story follows his attempt to prove his innocence while being pursued by bounty hunters across different eras.
