Dorian Godon wins 110th edition of Gran Piemonte

Dorian Godon of Netcompany-Ineos won the 110th edition of Gran Piemonte, a 185-kilometer road race held between Asti and Bra. The French rider secured his 23rd professional victory after a chaotic finish.

The race was characterized by significant elevation changes, including two climbs of La Morra. A breakaway of nine riders was established early in the day but was eventually neutralized by the peloton. Isaac del Toro launched a solo attack with 16 kilometers remaining, but he was caught by the chasing group three kilometers from the finish.

A crash in the final kilometer disrupted the peloton, leaving only three riders in contention for the win. Godon emerged victorious in the sprint, followed by Anthon Charmig of Uno-X Mobility and Alberto Bettiol of XDS-Astana, both finishing with the same time.
