Dorin Recean removed from MoldATSA Board of Directors
Former Prime Minister Dorin Recean has been removed from the Board of Directors of the state-owned enterprise MoldATSA. The revocation was enacted through an order from the Public Property Agency (APP) on August 26, 2026.
Recean's tenure on the board lasted just over two months, following his appointment on June 15, 2026. At the time of his appointment, he stated his objective was to restructure the company, reduce redundant roles, and eliminate opportunities for abuse. The MoldATSA situation previously drew public scrutiny regarding employee salaries, incentives, and irregular hiring practices.
While Recean has left MoldATSA, the Public Property Agency confirmed he remains a board member of the International Market Operator 'Bursa Internațională a Moldovei' S.A. The agency stated it has no current plans to appoint him to other state-owned enterprises.
