Tocantins Governor Candidate Dorinha Launches Pre‑Campaign, Promises Hospital and Road Projects

Senator Eduardo Gomes and other regional politicians attended the launch of pre‑candidate Dorinha's campaign for governor of Tocantins in Araguaína. The event was presented as a test of the coalition’s ability to mobilise supporters ahead of party conventions. Dorinha pledged to have the Hospital Geral de Araguaína operational by the middle of her first year in office and highlighted infrastructure works such as the duplication of highway TO‑222 and paving the access road to Mato Verde, aiming to improve health services and regional mobility.

In Goiás, former first lady Gracinha Caiado, a Senate candidate, gathered 46 mayors in Goiânia, urging municipal leaders to back her bid and emphasizing continuity of the state government's projects in security, education, health and social programs.

In Maranhão, pre‑candidate for governor Orleans Brandão defended Governor Carlos Brandão’s record, stressed loyalty within the governing bloc and called on local leaders to support Senate candidates Weverton Rocha and Pedro Lucas Fernandes, framing the message as a response to alleged defections.
