Doris Strübing presents aerial landscape paintings in Asunción

Artist Doris Strübing has launched a new series of abstract paintings titled “Vista aérea” at the Verónica Torres Art Collection in Asunción, Paraguay. The collection consists of twenty medium-format paintings that reinterpret local landscapes through an aerial perspective.

The works draw inspiration from elements such as the Paraguay River, the Chaco region, and the city of Asunción under heavy rain. By shifting the viewing distance, Strübing transforms recognizable natural and urban forms into a composition of lines, colors, and textures, utilizing a palette dominated by blues, greens, yellows, and earth tones.

A guided visit led by the artist is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, at 15:30. The exhibition will remain open to the public until Sunday, November 8, at the gallery located in the Paseo de las Artes.
