Dornbirn to begin road renovations on Haferweg in November

The city of Dornbirn, Austria, will begin road renovation work on Haferweg at the start of November. The project aims to repair the road surface, which has deteriorated due to age and previous construction activities in the area.

The scope of the work includes the Haferweg itself, as well as the intersections connecting to Erlgrund and Jodok-Stülz-Weg. Additionally, the existing rainwater drainage system will be upgraded to ensure more effective surface water management.

Construction is expected to last between four and five weeks, though the timeline remains dependent on weather conditions. During this period, motorists and local residents may experience traffic disruptions and temporary restrictions on vehicle access to certain properties. The municipality has coordinated the timing with adjacent construction projects to minimize overall impact, and the executing construction company is expected to inform affected residents of specific measures in advance.
