Dornbirner Herbstmesse sees decline in visitors and exhibitors

The 78th Dornbirner Herbstmesse in Austria concluded with a significant decrease in attendance and exhibitors. The event drew over 30,000 visitors during its five-day run, a notable drop from the 43,500 visitors recorded in 2025.

Exhibitor numbers also declined, falling from 300 in 2025 to 220 this year. Management attributed these changes to a strategic realignment of the fair, which included concentrating the event on 30,000 square meters of hall space, reorganizing thematic areas, and lowering entry prices.

Managing Director Nilly Nail stated that while the decline is evident, the results provide essential insights for the 2027 planning phase. New highlights, such as the 'Holzwelten' and agricultural technology exhibits, were noted as popular features among attendees.
