Dornum to host 15th East Frisian Straw Bale Rolling Championship

The 15th East Frisian Straw Bale Rolling Championship is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, in Dornumersiel. The event will be held near the outdoor swimming pool from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with admission free for spectators.

Teams of four will compete in three disciplines: rolling straw bales up a dike, navigating a slalom course, and a final sprint. While registration for women's teams is already full, spots remain available for men's and mixed teams. Participants can include clubs, companies, or groups of friends, and no prior experience is required.
