Dortmund Hafenquartier to host 14th Hafenspaziergang in 2026

The 14th edition of the Hafenspaziergang is scheduled for August 29, 2026, in the Dortmund Hafenquartier. The event serves as a cultural and neighborhood showcase, featuring over 80 events across more than 50 locations.

Designed to highlight the people, ideas, and projects shaping the district, the program focuses on culture, social initiatives, economy, innovation, and technology. The festivities will begin at 2:00 PM at the district stage in Speicherstraße. Visitors can navigate the area via walking, cycling, or a free shuttle bus operating every 15 minutes. A dedicated web app will also be available to assist with route planning.

District Mayor Hannah Rosenbaum noted that the event demonstrates the engagement and creativity within the Hafenquartier. Sebastian Kröger, head of the Urban Renewal Office, indicated that following the completion of projects in the southern Speicherstraße, development is now shifting toward the northern section, which aims to create spaces for gastronomy, brewing culture, and urban life.
