Dortmund residents protest stalled road work and faulty mowing on local streets

In the north‑eastern district of Dortmund, the Rüschenstraße in Scharnhorst has been closed for nearly three months. Work on the road has halted, allowing vegetation to grow in the excavated area, which has sparked anger among nearby residents.

Separate complaints have arisen after municipal mowing operations on the Borker Straße between Cappenberg and Bork left waste simply cut over, prompting criticism of the city's handling of street‑maintenance work.
