Dos Pinos reports 30 years of economic and social impact in Guatemala

Dairy company Dos Pinos has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, marking 30 years of operations in Guatemala. The company reported generating over USD $1.324 billion in direct economic value in the region.

Environmental initiatives include a 5% improvement in water efficiency and a 13.8% reduction in total water consumption, with 15% to 20% of water being reused for thermal and cooling processes. The company also eliminated 30 tons of plastic packaging and has transitioned 40% of its transport fleet to Euro 3 standards.

Social and nutritional programs have focused on combating malnutrition. In partnership with the Municipality of Fraijanes, the company provided 61,925 servings of milk to children aged 1 to 5. Additionally, collaboration with the Municipality of Guatemala through the ‘Madre-Niño’ project has distributed 336,227 servings of milk to support maternal and infant health. Regarding workforce diversity, women represent 22% of the 339 employees in Guatemala and hold 21% of management positions.
