DOSD Meram hosts traditional picnic for students and families in Konya

The DOSD Meram Down Syndrome Support Center organized its traditional picnic for students and their families at Dutlu Millet Bahçesi in the Meram district of Konya. The event, supported by the Meram Municipality, aimed to foster social solidarity and provide a day of recreation for individuals with Down syndrome.

Students participated in various activities, including face painting, inflatable obstacle courses, wooden games, sports, and competitions. Local officials, including Konya Governor İbrahim Akın and Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş, attended the event and interacted with the students. Other attendees included representatives from Necmettin Erbakan University and MÜSİAD Konya. The program concluded with students presenting handmade ebru (marbling) art pieces to the guests.
