Dosquebradas seeks urgent reconstruction roadmap from Risaralda

The municipality of Dosquebradas has requested an urgent meeting with the reconstruction manager of Risaralda to establish a formal roadmap for the region's recovery following a recent emergency.

Lina Marcela Mondragón, representing Mayor Roberto Jiménez Naranjo, presented a prioritized agenda to the Departmental Unified Command Post. The municipality is transitioning from immediate emergency response—which included rescues, controlled demolitions, and technical censuses—to a medium- and long-term planning phase.

Key requirements identified by Dosquebradas include specialized technical assistance, housing and education resources, technological solutions for approximately 3,000 affected students, and economic support for impacted families and local businesses.
