DOSTEK Koleji wins second place at TEKNOFEST electric vehicle race

DOSTEK Koleji secured second place in Turkey at the TEKNOFEST International Electric Vehicle Competition. The high school team competed on the same platform as university-level teams, marking a significant achievement in technical and vocational education.

Despite changes to the competition format and strict new specifications, the students and teachers developed their vehicle independently without external support. The competition involved a rigorous multi-stage selection process, including technical reports, video controls, and physical inspections. Out of the initial 62 teams, only 26 reached the final track competition.

In the final standings, Erciyes University took first place, followed by DOSTEK Koleji in second, and Pamukkale University in third. The jury specifically commended the DOSTEK students for their mastery of the vehicle, their ability to answer technical questions, and their capacity for real-time problem-solving, citing them as an example for other teams.
