Doubao AI assistant causes Honor of Kings login issues on Nubia devices
Users of the Nubia NaviX Ultra smartphone have reported being forcibly ejected from the mobile game Honor of Kings since September 24. Affected players encounter an “unusual device environment” error message during login or matchmaking, resulting in immediate kicks from matches and, in some cases, temporary account suspensions.
ByteDance, the developer of the Doubao AI mobile assistant, has denied causing these disruptions. The Doubao team issued a statement asserting that the assistant has not interfered with Tencent’s gaming systems through irregular clicks, cheats, or simulations. While the developers are reportedly in communication with Tencent to resolve the conflict, they have not yet received a definitive explanation for the security alerts.
Technical teams have advised Nubia NaviX Ultra owners to avoid repeated login attempts to prevent further sanctions. Users whose accounts have already been banned or suspended are encouraged to contact Tencent’s official customer support to file an appeal.
