Doubao AI expands services to include flight, train, and ride-hailing bookings

ByteDance's AI assistant, Doubao, has upgraded its travel services to provide a one-stop solution for various transportation and navigation needs. Users can now book flights, purchase train tickets, hail rides, and access route navigation through natural language commands.

To facilitate these services, Doubao has partnered with several industry providers. Flight and train bookings are supported through collaborations with Flight Manager and High-speed Rail Manager. Ride-hailing services are integrated via partnerships with platforms such as Cao Cao Mobility, while navigation capabilities, including public transit, driving, and walking routes, are powered by Baidu Maps.

The update builds upon existing hotel and dining reservation features. Doubao has also introduced a dedicated “Travel with Doubao” portal that offers curated recommendations for navigation, transportation, accommodation, and leisure activities.
