DoubleZero integrates Kalshi political betting data for 2026 midterms

DoubleZero has integrated Kalshi’s political betting market data into its high-speed data network, DoubleZero Edge. The integration provides institutional participants and algorithmic trading platforms with real-time access to election market order flow, including live trades, bid-ask spreads, and complete order book information in preparation for the 2026 U.S. midterm elections.

DoubleZero co-founder Austin Federa addressed concerns regarding whether this high-speed access creates an unfair advantage for professional traders over retail users. Federa clarified that the infrastructure is read-only and does not execute trades. He emphasized that the data feed is available to any subscriber, arguing that open access to the stream helps prevent private rails from creating unreachable price levels. Federa also noted that increased competition among market makers using faster data can lead to narrower spreads and better prices for all participants.
