Douglas Owusu joins Hapoel Tel Aviv from Red Star Belgrade

Twenty‑year‑old Ghanaian‑Serbian winger Douglas Owusu has transferred from Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade to Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Tel Aviv. The deal, valued at €2.2 million, was completed on 5 August 2026 and includes a contract running until 30 June 2030.

Owusu was part of Red Star’s domestic double in the 2025/26 season, winning both the Serbian SuperLiga and the Serbian Cup, after previously helping FK Radnik Surdulica capture the Serbian Second League title in 2024/25. Hapoel Tel Aviv view him as a right‑wing option to strengthen their attack.
