Douglas Robberts releases new fantasy book “Meninos avessos, duendes travessos”

Writer Douglas Robberts has released “Meninos avessos, duendes travessos”, a fantasy spin-off of his series “O Reino”. The story follows the unexpected encounter between two boys and a group of fugitive elves in the Great Forest.

The narrative explores themes of identity, inclusion, and diversity through the character Kep, an elf who identifies as human and faces rejection from his own kind. The book also addresses mental health and the importance of breaking away from toxic relationships to embrace one's true self.

A book launch and autograph session is scheduled for August 29 at Café ao Cubo in Maricá, Rio de Janeiro.
