Douglas Ruas tours Baixada Fluminense, opens dental center and pitches infrastructure projects

Pre‑candidate for Rio de Janeiro governor Douglas Ruas held a series of public meetings in the Baixada Fluminense region. In Nova Iguaçu he attended the traditional Santo Antonio mass and, together with mayor Duda Reina and federal deputy Luizinho, inaugurated a new Specialized Dental Center that will join the municipal health network. He later joined local celebrations in Barra do Piraí and Seropédica.

On a separate day Ruas visited Nilópolis, meeting the mayor, local legislators and residents at the Clube Nilopolitano to discuss new infrastructure, road resurfacing and hospital improvements. He inspected ongoing road works and the Municipal Hospital Juscelino Kubitschek, outlining plans to boost jobs and public services across the state's 92 municipalities. The agenda concluded in Belford Roxo with a rally alongside Senate hopeful Márcio Canella and Union Brasil president Antônio Rueda.
