Douyin Mall launches Double 11 shopping festival strategies
Douyin Mall has officially launched its 2026 Double 11 Good Goods Festival, providing a comprehensive operational framework for merchants and creators. The platform is implementing a three-stage strategy consisting of a water accumulation phase to prepare supply, an explosion phase to drive peak sales through real-time data and livestreaming, and a continuation phase for clearance and post-promotion analysis.
To support merchants, Douyin is offering various incentives, including platform consumption vouchers, direct discounts, and traffic subsidies. Special initiatives such as the “In-stock Day” aim to improve user experience by guaranteeing 48-hour shipping. Additionally, the platform is introducing specialized support for traditional intangible cultural heritage home goods to reach broader audiences.
On the developer side, Pangle (ByteDance's advertising platform) has released a monetization guide for the Double 11 period. This includes upgrades to the GroMore intelligent management platform, which utilizes AI agents to optimize ad waterfall strategies and respond to budget fluctuations. Developers are encouraged to upgrade SDKs to capture predicted budget peaks occurring between late October and mid-November.
