Down launches ‘Strap It Down’ North American summer tour

The heavy metal supergroup Down has launched its ‘Strap It Down’ summer 2026 North American tour, beginning with a performance at The Eastern in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 15. The two-week headlining trek features support from Helmet and Spirit In The Room.

The tour schedule includes stops in several cities, such as Toronto, Montreal, and Chicago, before concluding with a special appearance in Shakopee, Minnesota, on September 4, where the band will perform as direct support for Slayer. Additionally, Down is set to appear at Zakk Wylde’s Berzerkus Festival on August 28 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and August 29 in Wantagh, New York, alongside acts such as Lamb Of God and Black Label Society.

In related news, Nuclear Blast Records recently announced a remastered edition of the band’s third studio album, ‘Over The Under’, which will be officially available in the US market for the first time.
