Doxa and Belmont Watches announce SUB 300 Beta ‘Frogger’ edition

Doxa and San Diego-based Belmont Watches have announced a collaboration for a limited edition timepiece called the SUB 300 Beta ‘Frogger’. The watch is a military-inspired reinterpretation of the Sub 300 Beta model, featuring a kelp-green grained dial, orange hands, and a black ceramic bezel.

The ‘Frogger’ edition is designed as a historical tribute to the Navy Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT), the predecessors to the modern US Navy SEAL Teams. This connection is reflected in the design, which includes an engraved map of San Diego Bay focusing on Coronado, the location of Naval Amphibious Base Coronado.

Technical specifications include a 42.5mm diameter, 44.5mm lug-to-lug measurement, and a thickness of 11.95mm. The watch is water-resistant to 300 meters. This release marks the first time Doxa has utilized a fully sandblasted stainless-steel case and a beads-of-rice bracelet. Only 100 individually numbered pieces are being produced.
