Doxx. net secures $38 million to launch AI-driven networking platform
Networking startup doxx. net has announced a $38 million Series A funding round to develop its Agentic Defined Networking platform. The investment was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with additional participation from Animo Ventures and Focal.vc.
Founded by Barrett Lyon, the platform utilizes autonomous artificial intelligence agents to manage and construct private networks, reducing the need for large engineering teams. The technology combines custom VPN transports, a company-operated mesh, and a separate control plane to operate across 31 global locations.
The system is designed to bypass firewalls and censorship using various protocols, including WireGuard, WebSocket, SIP, ping, QUIC, Cloudflare, and HTTPS. The underlying mesh operates over both IPv4 and IPv6, enabling peer-to-peer applications by avoiding network address translation (NAT).
