DP World ILT20 Development Tournament squads finalized

The squads for the fourth edition of the DP World International League T20 Development Tournament have been finalized following a player draft held on September 2. The tournament is scheduled to run from September 14 to September 24 at the ICC Academy in Dubai.

Six teams representing the DP World ILT20 franchises will compete, providing promising cricketers in the UAE with exposure and experience. The competition serves as a platform for players to perform ahead of the DP World ILT20 Season 5 Player Auction, which is set for October 1, 2026, in Dubai.

Key squad highlights include:

• Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Development: Anchored by Alishan Sharafu, with Mayank Choudhary and Ibrar Ahmad. • Desert Vipers Development: Featuring last year’s Player of the Tournament Sanjay Pahal, alongside UAE internationals Khuzaima Tanveer and Matiullah Khan. • Dubai Capitals Development: Led by a bowling attack including Haider Ali and Muhammad Jawadullah, as well as Akshdeep Nath and Raees Ahmed.
