DP World Tour holds Omega European Masters amid major tour breaks

The DP World Tour is the only major professional golf tour with an active event during the week of August 31 to September 6, 2026, featuring the Omega European Masters. Thriston Lawrence enters the tournament as the defending champion.

Other major tours are currently in an off-period. The PGA TOUR is scheduled to resume with the Biltmore Championship Asheville from September 17 to 20. The LPGA is also off this week, with its next major event being the Solheim Cup. Other tours, including the PGA TOUR Champions, Korn Ferry Tour, PGA TOUR Americas, APGA, and LIV, are also currently without scheduled events.
