DPD RI Merit System Talent Management Simantap Civil Service

Sekretaris Jenderal Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Republik Indonesia (DPD RI), Mohammad Iqbal, opened the Talent Summit 2026 in Jakarta on 29 July 2026, reaffirming the council’s commitment to reinforce the implementation of the Civil Service Merit System and a comprehensive talent‑management framework. The summit highlighted the launch of the Simantap Talent Management Information System and stressed the need to cultivate future public‑sector leaders who are competent, ethical and adaptable.

Fitriani Badar, Kepala Biro Organisasi, Keanggotaan, dan Kepegawaian Setjen DPD RI, described the event as a catalyst for accelerating a data‑driven talent ecosystem, noting that the initiative goes beyond a technical application to embed a culture that rewards competence, integrity, performance and potential. DPD RI received a "Sangat Baik" rating with a score of 342 for its merit system at the end of 2023, and the Simantap system has been approved by the National Civil Service Agency (KASN) and aligned with standards of the National Civil Service Agency (BKN).
