DPR RI approves five LPP RRI Supervisory Board members

The Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) has approved five members of the Supervisory Board (Dewan Pengawas) for the Public Broadcasting Institution Radio Republik Indonesia (LPP RRI) for the 2026–2031 term. The approval followed a fitness and propriety test conducted by Commission VII of the DPR RI involving 15 candidates.

The five approved members are Soleman Yusuf (RRI element), Bara Ilyasa (community element), Widyarsi Agustina (community element), Mohammad Reza (government element), and Margareta Fajar Kurnia Putri (community element). The selection was finalized through a majority vote mechanism.

Saleh Daulay, Chairman of Commission VII, emphasized that the new board members are expected to uphold high standards of integrity, independence, and public interest. He noted that the board's role extends beyond administrative oversight to ensuring that LPP RRI's governance is healthy, accountable, and responsible.
