DPRD members undergo drug rehabilitation in Banyuwangi

Three members of regional legislatures (DPRD) and one entrepreneur are undergoing social rehabilitation at the BNNK Banyuwangi facility following a drug raid in Surabaya. The individuals involved include representatives from the Banyuwangi, Situbondo, and Malang Regency legislatures.

The group was part of an eight-person raid conducted by the Surabaya City Police (Polrestabes Surabaya) at a hotel. The case is being resolved through a restorative justice mechanism. Following medical and legal assessments by the East Java Provincial BNN Integrated Assessment Team, the four suspects were referred to Banyuwangi due to their residential ties to Situbondo and Banyuwangi.
