DPS Party Accuses Bulgarian Government of Political Repression
The DPS 'Novo Nachalo' party has issued a sharp declaration against the government of Prime Minister Rumen Radev following a series of police actions against its mayors. DPS MEPs Elena Yoncheva and Taner Kabilov held an emergency briefing at the European Parliament, stating that the executive branch is interfering with the judiciary. The party claims these measures are a response to their threats to expose corruption within the ‘Radev-Koprinkov’ model and their criticism of the government’s foreign policy.
