DPSP opens 150 pharmacist positions in Brazil

DPSP, the retail pharmacy group operating Drogarias Pacheco and Drogaria São Paulo, is opening 150 new positions for pharmacists across the Brazilian states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Goiás, and Paraná.

The recruitment initiative includes five days of professional training and career development programs through the DPSP Corporate University. This expansion follows a structural shift in the sector where pharmacists are increasingly central to integrated health services, such as vaccinations and clinical exams, rather than just medication dispensing.

According to data from Abrafarma, over 10 million pharmaceutical services were performed in more than 1,500 Brazilian municipalities in 2025. DPSP reported performing over 1.1 million services and tests across its 1,251 pharmaceutical service rooms during the same period.
