Dr. Abdulcabbar Boran urges making the Qur'an central to life to restore societal peace

Dr. Abdulcabbar Boran, a high‑ranking physics engineer, mystic writer and author, appeared on the Gönül Dostları program together with Dr. Kerim Güç, a faculty member at Üsküdar University. He argued that placing the Qur'an at the centre of individual and collective life can bring back personal tranquility and social harmony. Boran highlighted how the Prophet Muhammad transformed pre‑Islamic society into a "age of happiness" and said that today the guidance of the Qur'an is under‑utilised, with sincere repentance, prayer and dhikr lacking.

He emphasized that the Qur'an provides a moral measure between right and wrong, and that its integration—along with Sufi practices—could enable a second era of widespread well‑being. The discussion was framed as a solution to contemporary spiritual and societal challenges.
