DR Congo football teams face upcoming international fixtures

The DR Congo women's national football team, the Leopards, will face three injury absences ahead of their Olympic qualifying matches against Côte d'Ivoire. Players Olivia Mbala, Merveille Kanjinga of Paris Saint-Germain, and Grace Kazadi are unavailable for the upcoming double confrontation. The first leg is scheduled for October 9, 2026, in Lubumbashi, followed by a return match in Abidjan on October 13, 2026.

In men's football, DR Congo is scheduled to play a friendly match against Uganda at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. This follows a successful period for the Leopards, who recently secured victories in AFCON qualifying against Equatorial Guinea and Zimbabwe. Uganda enters the fixture having earned a draw against Tunisia and a win over Libya.
