Dr. Ivan Barbot Neuropsychiatric Hospital energy renovation nears completion

The multi-year energy renovation project at the Dr. Ivan Barbot Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Popovača is entering its final phase. Total investments in energy upgrades for the facility amount to approximately 8.5 million euros, aimed at reducing energy costs and improving conditions for patients and staff.

To date, eight buildings have undergone energy renovation. Recent completed works include the technical service building (valued at approximately 1.02 million euros), the psychotherapy department with a day hospital (approximately 427,850 euros), and the Forensic Psychiatry Institute (approximately 4.57 million euros). Work is currently ongoing on the administrative building, with a contract value of approximately 1.37 million euros.

Funding for these renovations was secured by Sisak-Moslavina County through non-refundable funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan via the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction, and State Assets, supplemented by the county budget.
