Dr. Martens appoints Katie Morton as global customer director

Dr. Martens has appointed Katie Morton as its new global customer director, effective October 26. Morton will report to Chief Brand Officer Carla Murphy and is tasked with strengthening the company’s consumer-centric approach and deepening consumer relationships globally.

Morton brings extensive experience to the role, having spent over 17 years at Burberry. During her tenure there, she was a founding member of the digital team and held various senior leadership positions, most recently serving as Global Vice President, Online to Offline, where she managed omnichannel strategy across five regions. She also recently worked as an independent consultant for brands such as Fortnum & Mason.

This appointment is part of Dr. Martens’ ‘Levers for Growth’ strategy, which includes recent leadership additions such as Isadora Versiani as global product design director and Nadia Svensson as global merchandising and product director. The company aims to build a more consumer-first organization to drive long-term relevance and growth.
